As far as dirty movies go, this has got to be one of the dirtiest that I’ve ever seen. But that doesn’t mean what you think it means. Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank is a hilarious film about two independent filmmakers, Rainier and Bingbong (played by JM de Guzman and Kean Cipriano), that are seeking to create a masterpiece that will land them a place in international film festivals, providing them with the glory that they oh-so want. It’s a film about making a film, which is always fun to watch, if not at the very least something that will surely get discussions about our country’s independent film industry underway. |
